Before arriving
The Lodge is in a very remote place, we strongly recommend you make the purchase before your arriving.
In the Lodge you will find coffee, tea, drinking water (8 liters), salt, oil.
How to get to the Lodge
Before arriving we remind you that it is a very isolated place, we strongly recommend that you do the shopping before going there.
On site you will find coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil, 8 liters of water and all the necessary kitchen utensils.
From this point you will leave the main road and take the dirty
The road is at your right if coming from Granada or at your left if coming from Otívar/Almuñecar
It’s about 2km of dirt road that will take you to the heart of the forest. The path has its curves, but you always go straight until you find the entrance of the house on the right hand side.
Arriving the Lodge
The main portal has a locker, enter the code: 0 – 1 – 3 – 5 to enter
Enter with the car to the house, in the same door of the house on the right there is a safe with the keys inside. The Code is: 1-3-5-7.

Both work with gas and for safety the gas tanks are closed. You would have to open them. You will find the oven bottle next to it and the hot water bottle on the left side of the house against the wall.
If you need to replace the gas bottle, follow these instructions in the video to do it safely and quickly.
You will find outdoor cushions in a trunk on the left side of the house.
You will also find towels for the hot tub in this tunk
You only have to close the door and place the keys in your safe, leave the gate of the estate closed as you found it.
Air conditioning
Air Conditioning Operation
The air conditioning operates for a few hours after sunrise and a few hours before sunset. It turns off several hours before nightfall.
This scheduling allows for efficient energy use: our solar panels recharge the batteries in the morning and at the end of the day, ensuring sufficient autonomy for the night and comfortable use of the house.
Responsible and eco-friendly use:
- Use it consciously: if you don’t need air conditioning all day, don’t leave it on unnecessarily
- On cloudy days, avoid using it as solar production is limited
- Adjust the temperature reasonably to optimize energy consumption
- Remember that each conscious use contributes to the sustainability of our solar system
Please note:
- Air conditioning is available only in summer, to cool the environment
- It does not heat, therefore cannot be used in winter
- At night, the temperature drops naturally thanks to our altitude of 1300 meters, and there is a fan available for your comfort
Drinking Water
Water Purification: The British Berkefeld removes 99.99% of bacteria, parasites, and sediments while preserving essential minerals. The filtered water is safe to drink directly – no boiling or additional treatment needed.
How to Use:
- Fill the upper chamber with water
- Wait 4-5 hours for full filtration (5 liters)
- Collect drinking water from the tap
- Refill before empty to ensure continuous supply
Use of the Nordic bath
Steps to follow to start a Nordic bath
- Fill with water (45 min/ see picture)
- Empty the ashtray
- Prepare the wood
- Wait until the bath is filled to at least 3/4 of its capacity
- Light the fire with wood
- Stop filling once the water reaches 20 cm from the edge
- Heat the water (2 to 4 hours)
